Hello, I'm Dhairya

I’m a Computer Science student based in Bangalore who enjoys building things that actually work in the real world. I spend most of my time working on web development, DSA, and experimenting with different ideas—sometimes software, sometimes hardware. Lately, I’ve been focused on writing cleaner code, improving how I think through problems, and building projects that feel complete, not just finished.

My Projects

A mix of electronics, IoT, and hands-on builds focused on solving practical problems and making ideas actually usable.

Smart Dustbin with GSM Tech

Arduino GSM Module Ultrasonic Sensor IoT

The "smart" part about it is that it detects the garbage held above it and opens the lid automatically. Additionally when the dustbin is full, it sends a message to the assigned mobile number stating which particular public dustbin is full with its location.

It addresses the issue of people avoiding to open dirty lids of public dustbins with their bare hands and instead dumping trash outside, which pollutes and makes surroundings stink. Another limit it solves is of overflowing garbage due to irregular collection.

Remote Plant Watering System

Arduino UNO DTMF Module Soil Moisture Automation

This remote plant watering system uses Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) module and Arduino UNO to remotely water the plants when you're not home to do so.

The limit is when people go out for holidays the plants at their home dry up and die due to unavailability of water. With this system, you can water your plants from anywhere anytime with the press of a button through your phone. The whole process can even be set to be fully automatic with a little modification in the code.

Lap-Pi - Mini Raspberry Pi Laptop

Raspberry Pi 4 3D Printing Custom Electronics Linux

I made this Mini laptop that works on a Raspberry Pi 4. The body of the laptop is a custom made 3D printed design. It's a compact computer that is able to run operating systems like KALI LINUX, UBUNTU, RASPBERRY PI OS etc.

All the electronic components were customized by me to fit in such a compact space. This laptop is quite portable due to its compact size and is perfect for coding, retro gaming, surfing the internet, watching videos, streaming music, making spreadsheets and presentations in Libre Office and much more.

Education & Progress

The academic and self-driven path behind my work — from electronics experimentation to software and web development.

Self-Taught Electronics & IoT Development

2021 - Present

Continuously learning and building hardware projects through online resources, documentation, and practical implementation. Focused on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensor integration, and creating innovative IoT solutions for real-world problems.

Scalers School Of Technology

2025 - 2029

Currently studying at Scalers School of Technology (2025–2029), where I’m focused on software development, web technologies, and hands-on project building. I spend a lot of time learning by actually building things and improving how I think through problems.
